胡求為鬼球
方閣學苞有僕胡求，年三十餘，隨閣學入直。閣學修書武英殿，胡僕宿浴德堂中。夜三鼓，見二人舁之階下，時月明如晝，照見二人皆青黑色，短袖仄襟，胡恐，急走。隨見東首一神，紅袍烏紗，長丈餘，以靴腳踢之，滾至西首。復有一神，如東首狀貌衣裳，亦以靴腳踢之，滾至東首，將胡當作拋球者然。胡痛不可忍。五更雞鳴，二神始去。胡委頓於地。明旦視之，遍身青腫，幾無完膚。病數月始愈。
