黑雲劫
王師征緬甸，有昆明縣皂隸葉某，死三日復蘇，言被鬼卒勾赴冥司，有大殿朱門如王者居，門外坐官吏甚多，皆手一簿，判記甚忙。判畢，則黑氣一團，覆於簿上，有椎腰蹙額自稱勞苦者。葉陽壽未盡，以不在應死之數，故仍放還。
路間私問鬼卒：「彼官吏所執何簿？」曰：「人簿三，獸簿五。」問：「何為有簿？」曰：「從古人間征戰之事，皆天上劫數先定，無可挽回。一切應死者，皆先寫入黑雲劫簿中，雖一騾一馬，皆無錯誤。終竟獸多人少，故其簿有『人三獸五』之說。」問：「應此劫者，省城中可有某官乎？」曰：「第一名即你家總督也。」其時督滇南者劉公藻，丙辰鴻詞翰林，後自刎。

In a corpus of ca. 3100 stories from the strange tales collections Zibuyu, Xu Zibuyu, Yuewei caotangbiji, Liaozhai zhiyi, Yetan suilu, Ershilu and Xieduo an LDA-based topic modeling algorithm was asked to identify exactly 50 topics. The algorithm calculated the probability of each of the 50 topics to appeaer in each of the stories. Below are given the Top 5 topics in decending order of their probabilities for the story above.
