神秤
張玉奇，武進縣戶房書吏也。解錢糧至蘇州，過橫林地方，白日仆地。越一日蘇，自言被金甲人擒去，至大院落呼曰：「大師父，惡人來矣。」上坐青面獠牙者，云：「既是惡人，著即拘禁。」金甲人跪請曰：「玉奇有朝廷公事在身，未便羈留，且放還陽，候其事畢，再行審訊未遲。」青面者許之，張遂活。
解糧至蘇，掣批歸，仍過橫林，宿旅店中，夢金甲人又來，將玉奇引見大師父，即青面者。大師父判曰：「取玉奇生平功過簿來，稱其輕重，再行治罪。」左右取一秤至，金星照耀，其權以紫金石為之。凡善事用紅標簽，惡事用黑標簽，分投秤盤中。頃刻間，紅輕黑重矣，張戰慄不已。俄而，有人取紅簽文書一卷投之，則秤盤中諸黑盡為所壓，紅簽重不可量。青面者曰：「有此大功德，可放還陽，增壽一紀。」
玉奇驚醒，以此語人。人問：「可認得是何文書？」曰：「我所承辦，豈有不認！此常州劉藩司名某者抄家案也。」劉被抄時，所籍田產，佃戶陳欠甚多，縣令某欲按數比追。玉奇陽承奉其言，而夜中故意不戒於火，盡焚之，以此被杖，其事遂已。想壓秤者，是此事也。玉奇至今尚存。

In a corpus of ca. 3100 stories from the strange tales collections Zibuyu, Xu Zibuyu, Yuewei caotangbiji, Liaozhai zhiyi, Yetan suilu, Ershilu and Xieduo an LDA-based topic modeling algorithm was asked to identify exactly 50 topics. The algorithm calculated the probability of each of the 50 topics to appeaer in each of the stories. Below are given the Top 5 topics in decending order of their probabilities for the story above. Probabilities are indicated with percentage numbers.
