琴工錢生
琴工錢生（錢生嘗客裘文達公家，日相狎習，而忘問名字鄉里。）言，其鄉有人家酷貧，傭作所得，悉以與其寡嫂，嫂竟以節終。一日，在燭下拈紵線，見窗隙一人面，其小如錢，目炯炯內視。急探手攫得之，乃一玉孩，長四寸許，製作工巧，土蝕斑然。鄉僻無售者，僅於質庫得錢四千。質庫置櫝中，越日失去，深懼其來贖。此人聞之，曰：「此本怪物，吾偶攫得，豈可復脅取人財？」具述本末，還其質券。質庫感之，常呼令傭作，倍酬其值，且歲時周恤之，竟以小康。裘文達公曰：「此天以報其友愛也。不然，何在其家不化去，到質庫始失哉？至慨還質券，尤人情所難，然此人之緒餘耳。世未有鍥薄奸黠而友於兄弟者，亦未有友於兄弟而鍥薄奸黠者也。」

In a corpus of ca. 3100 stories from the strange tales collections Zibuyu, Xu Zibuyu, Yuewei caotangbiji, Liaozhai zhiyi, Yetan suilu, Ershilu and Xieduo an LDA-based topic modeling algorithm was asked to identify exactly 50 topics. The algorithm calculated the probability of each of the 50 topics to appeaer in each of the stories. Below are given the Top 5 topics in decending order of their probabilities for the story above. Probabilities are indicated with percentage numbers.
