阿龍 A Long
阿龍
蘇州徐世球，居木瀆，幼入城中，讀書於韓其武家。韓有僕曰阿龍，年二十侍書室頗勤。一夕，徐讀書樓上，命阿龍下取茶。少頃，阿龍失色而至，曰：「某見一白衣人在樓下狂走，呼之不應，殆鬼耶？」徐笑而不信。次夕，阿龍不敢上樓，徐命柳姓者代其職。至二更，柳下取茶，足有所觸，遂仆地，視之，阿龍死於階下。柳大呼，徐與韓氏諸賓客共來審視，見阿龍頸下有手搦痕，青黑如柳葉大，耳目口鼻盡塞黃泥，屍橫而氣未絕。飲以薑汁，乃蘇，曰：「吾下階時，昨白衣者當頭立，年可四十餘，短髯黑面，向我張嘴，伸其舌，長尺許。吾欲叫喊，遂為所擊，以手夾我喉。旁有一老者，白鬚高冠，勸曰：『渠年少，未可欺侮。』我爾時幾欲氣絕，適柳某撞我腳上，白衣者衝屋去矣。」徐命眾人扶之登床，床上鬼燈數十，如極大螢火，徹夜不絕。次日，阿龍癡迷不食，韓氏召女巫眕之。巫曰：「取縣官堂上朱筆，在病者心上書一『正』字，頸上書一『刀』字，兩手書兩『火』字，便可救也。」韓氏如其言。書至左手「火」字，阿龍張目大叫曰：「勿燒我！我即去可也。」自此怪遂絕。阿龍至今猶存。

In a corpus of ca. 3100 stories from the strange tales collections Zibuyu, Xu Zibuyu, Yuewei caotangbiji, Liaozhai zhiyi, Yetan suilu, Ershilu and Xieduo an LDA-based topic modeling algorithm was asked to identify exactly 50 topics. The algorithm calculated the probability of each of the 50 topics to appeaer in each of the stories. Below are given the Top 5 topics in decending order of their probabilities for the story above. Probabilities are indicated with percentage numbers.
