鬼怕討債 A Ghost Fears his Debt Collectors
鬼怕討債
常州一貧漢死，其房賣入富姓。貧鬼作祟，富者鎖之，幾十年矣。後富者亦窮，大屋賣去，挪居之。忽貧鬼大鬧，索鏹討祭，一家大小盡病。時方冬盡，房主負逋最多，債客登堂，日夜號罵，妖魅忽絕，病者盡起。至來歲債務稍清，將帳目焚化，鬼又白日大詬，曰：「我去年見討債甚多，疑是我生前舊欠，故而避之。今閱所燒帳目，皆爾家積負，不干吾事，吾何避為！」於是拋磚擲火，惡聲日甚。而房主亦徙去不復住。

In a corpus of ca. 3100 stories from the strange tales collections Zibuyu, Xu Zibuyu, Yuewei caotangbiji, Liaozhai zhiyi, Yetan suilu, Ershilu and Xieduo an LDA-based topic modeling algorithm was asked to identify exactly 50 topics. The algorithm calculated the probability of each of the 50 topics to appeaer in each of the stories. Below are given the Top 5 topics in decending order of their probabilities for the story above. Probabilities are indicated with percentage numbers.
